Obituary for Bessie Mae Smith
Bessie Mae Smith passed away peacefully on January 22, 2023 at the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home. Born in Chipman on December 22, 1936 daughter of the late Calvin and Myrtle (Stevenson) Smith.
Bessie worked for many years as a hair dresser at Fashion Set in Fredericton. Bessie enjoyed shopping, country music and trips to various destinations.
Bessie was predeceased by her parents Calvin and Myrtle Smith and brother Gordon Smith.
Bessie's wishes were for no funeral service or visitation. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Red Bank United Church Cemetery.
We are thankful for the years we shared with her, Wade, Ellie and family. Donation in memory of Bessie made to the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
