Obituary for Carolyn Dora Brown (Fraser)

It is with great sadness that the family of Carolyn Brown (nee Fraser) announce her passing at Hospice Fredericton on Monday, August 30, 2021, at the age 50. Born in Fredericton, NB, on November 20, 1970, she was the beloved wife of Chris Brown of Upper Gagetown.

In addition to her husband, Chris, Carolyn leaves behind her daughter, Maddy Hawkes, her mother-in-law, Phyllis; her brother-in-law, Geoffrey (Holly); two brothers, Dean Fairbairn (Mona) and Tim Fraser (Sharon); three sisters, Jacqueline Michaud (Floyd), Heather Fraser and Dawn Fraser. Carolyn is is also survived by her Aunt, Gail Harnish of Fredericton; several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Carolyn was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Myrna Fraser of Fredericton; several aunts, uncles, cousins as well as her father-in-law, Gerald.

Carolyn loved dogs, but especially her dogs, Molly and Maya. She could be found at an animal shelter, wanting to take each one home with her. She loved spending time with her husband on the water, travelling with him and having bar-b-ques. She loved her daughter, Maddy, dearly. She will be greatly missed by all, greatly loved and never forgotten.

There will be a service at Oromocto Pioneer Gardens at a date to be determined. For those who wish, donations in Carolyn’s memory can be made to Hospice Fredericton, the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, Oromocto SPCA or a charity of your choosing.
