Obituary for Christopher Paul McKiel
It is with great sadness that the family of Christopher Paul McKiel announce his passing. He was the son of the late Roy and Doris (Cain) McKiel. He is survived by his wife Linda (Long/ McQuinn ) and his daughters Erin McKiel (Mike) and Sky, step-daughter Tracy Phillips (Randy) and sons Paul and Jonathan and step Son Aaron McQuinn; sister Judy (Brian) and brothers Doug and Brian (Barbara). He was predeceased by his sisters Barb and Sandra and Brothers Wally and Larry, and Sisters in Law Carol and Joan.
Chris Loved all of his grandchildren Stephanie Wiens (Josh) , Kevin Hatt, Sofia McKiel, Aria-Lynn McKiel and Kyle Greek along with his Great Grandchildren Malachi and Ivy.
Chris loved cars especially high-performance ones and some of his favourites that he owned were the Cuda, Demon, Blue Trans am and his favourite red Corvette. He was a proud member of the Corvette Club and enjoyed having barbecues with them. He loved drag racing with Doug and Donnie and then racing with his nephew Mark.
Chris worked for Daye Well Drilling, Keel Construction and Department of Transportation for 33 ½ years operating heavy equipment when he retired.
A Big thank you goes out to all of the Staff at the Emergency Department, 3BS, 4BS and 4CN at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be Saturday, September 23 at 3:00 p.m. at the River Road Hub, Browns Flat with burial to follow and then the reception. Donations may be made to Bobby's Hospice or Wesley United Cemetery Fund or charity of the donor's choice.
