Obituary for Clifford Allister Betts

It is with great sadness the family of Clifford Allister Betts announces his death at home on August 6, 2022 at 70 years of age. Clifford was born in Minto on March 28, 1952 the son of the late Hazen and Netta Betts (McPhee).

Clifford is survived by his daughter Patricia Rutter, special grandsons Sebastian and Oliver who affectionally called him Bubba. He is also survived by one brother David Betts (Doreen) and two sisters Linda Beardall and Myrna Murray (Ray).

Along with his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife of 45 years Janet, three brothers Daniel Betts, Willard Betts and Thomas Betts and his son in-law Collin Rutter.

Clifford was well known in the business community having run a flooring business for many years. He was also well known for being one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and sharing his faith with others. He looked forward to the promise of a better life on earth in Revelation 21:4 which says “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more neither mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

No visitation. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 2:00 pm from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1000 Pleasant Drive Minto, NB.
