Obituary for Cory Allen Blunston
The family of Cory Allen Blunston are saddened to announce his passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Monday, July 24, 2023 at the age of 47. Cory was born in Fredericton, NB on March 9, 1976 the son of the late Jack Blunston and Peggy (Babineau) Blunston.
He is survived by his children, Jordan (Kyle) Baggs and Tanner Blunston; mother, Peggy Blunston; partner Shelley Keddy; Diane Curtis; brother Jason (Jessica) Blunston; grandson Jensen Baggs; nephews, Jake and Joel; step-daughters, Brooklyn, Molly, Brianne and Laura Fowler; step-son Jordan Keddy; four step-grandchildren, Myla, Reece, Madison and Douglas. Predeceased by his father Jack.
Many who knew Cory knew how much he enjoyed jumping in his woods buggy, casting a line into the river with a tea in his hand in the summer time. In the fall you would catch him at the camp in camouflage and orange hunting with his friends and family. He was a family man who loved everyone with his whole heart and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
A celebration of Cory’s life will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Penniac Rec Centre. Donations in his memory made to the Canadian Diabetes Association are appreciated by his family.
