Obituary for Dorothy Hanora Ward (MacArthur)
Dorothy Honora Ward of Salmon Creek, NB passed away at the North Minto Residence on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the age of 102 years. Dorothy was born in Charlo, NB on April 1, 1920 daughter of the late Stanley and Josephine (McCarthy) MacArthur.
Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Darlene Murray; grandchildren, Theresa (Rob Doherty) and Colin (Nicki Legge) Murray; great-grandchildren, Rachel Doherty, Grace Doherty and Jaden Robar; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by her husband Bonar; daughter Eva Randall; son-in-law Howard Randall; siblings Kenneth MacArthur, James MacArthur and Mildred Jones.
A celebration of Dorothy’s wonderful life will be held at the Chipman Funeral Home Memorial Chapel (28 Northrup Drive, Chipman) on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Family will receive comfort prior to the service from 12:00 pm until service time. Interment will be made in the Second Chipman United Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
Donations in memory of Dorothy made to the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. The family wish to thank the staff at the North Minto Residence for their great care.
