Obituary for Dow Robinson Egers
Dow Robinson Egers of Minto, NB passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Dow was born in Hardwood Ridge, NB on July 27, 1930 son of the late William and Estella (McAllister) Egers
Dow is survived by his children Catherine (David) Schriver and David (Sherri) Egers; grandchildren, Teya Schriver, Abbi, Emmily, Nate and Katie Egers; sister Orvilla Dickie; sisters-in-law Mary Thurrott and Ross (Janice) Thurrott; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Dow was predeceased by his parents; his wife Virginia “Ruth” ;brothers, Alexander, Oswald, Lorne, Rolland, Orville and Ross.
A celebration of Dow’s life will be held at the United Baptist Church of Minto on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will take place before the funeral begins from 12:00 to 1:40 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dow made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
