Garnet Frederick Fulton passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the age of 84. Garnet was born in Chipman on March 14, 1934 son of the late Frederick Fulton and Dora (Stilwell) Fulton Brown. Garnet is survived by his siblings, Marjorie Stilwell, June (George) Hennecke, Marlene (Doug) O’Leary and Paulette Harding; sister-in-law, Marlene Fulton; many nieces, nephews and good friends. Predeceased by his sisters, Evelyn Kierstead and Shirley Dawson; brothers, Amos Fulton and Burns Fulton; brothers-in-law, David Stilwell and Harry Kierstead; niece Cheryl Fulton-Wade. Family will receive comfort at the Chipman Funeral Home Ltd. & Crematorium on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 6-8 pm. A Celebration of Garnet’s life will be held from the Chipman United Church on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Betty-Jean Friedman officiating. Interment will be made in the Red Bank United Church Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers donations to the Fredericton SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
