Obituary for Gary George Allen
Marysville has said goodbye to another special gentleman. Gary George Allen closed his eyes peacefully, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, for the last time on July 29, 2023, with family by his side. Born in Marysville, Gary will be remembered as a kind soul with a big heart. Gary was retired from NB Power and enjoyed spending time with family, friends and his special fur baby, Zoe.
Gary was kind, compassionate and enjoyed caring for others. He loved taking Zoe for walks in "Pine Grove" up on baseball hill and spending time with his close friend, Carl, out at the camp. Gary has a long list of friends who will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debra (Farrer); sister, Sandra (Blair) Ferris; daughters, Katherine (Brian) and Kathleen (Archie); step children, Tasha (Jon) and Adam (Jenna); grandchildren, Lauren, Thomas, Sean; step grandchildren, Emily, Kyle, Lily, James, Octavia and Rori.
Gary is predeceased by his parents Neil and Dot (Marshall) Allen of Marysville.
As per Gary's wishes, there will be no viewing or funeral service. Donations in memory of Gary can be made to the Fredericton SPCA.
