It is with heavy hearts that the family of Gerald Vincent Chase announce his passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on November 20, 2022 at the age of 88.
Born in Chipman on August 26, 1934, he was the son of the late Clarence and Kathryn (MacVicar) Chase (Gale). Gerald lived his entire life in the house in which he was raised in Salmon River.
Forever remembered by his wife of 61 years, Deanna (Fowler) Chase; sons, Dwayne (Kara) and Kim (Peggy); daughters, Pam Moore (Paul) and Stacey Chase (Anthony); grandchildren, Kristen, Dylan, Brooke, Hannah, Abby, Coady, Noah and Abby; one great-grandchild, Colby; sister, Joyce Barton (Charlie); several nieces and nephews.
Prior to his retirement in 1996, Gerald was a truck driver for most of his life.
To honor his wishes, there will be a graveside service for family and friends which will be held at the Gaspereau Forks Baptist Cemetery on Thursday, November 24 at 1:00 PM.
