Obituary for Henry David Friesen
Peacefully in the morning of March 13, 2023, Henry David Friesen passed away at the Veterans Health Unit at the age of 90.
Henry was born in Manitoba on September 26, 1932 to Abram and Justina Friesen. Henry joined the army (RCD) and served in Korea, Japan, Egypt, Vietnam and Germany twice. He was very proud of his RCD and military service.
He is survived by his loving wife Florence (Nicholson) of 53 years. He is also survived by his only sister Eunice Grace in BC; one niece and two nephews. Also survived by a very special friend Henry Neufeld.
There will no visitation or service at Henry’s request. For those who wish donations in memory of Henry may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
