Henry Pospisil passed away on May 9, 2023 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital at the age of 81. He was born June 26, 1941 in Czechoslovakia. He came to Canada in 1968.

He is survived by his wife Vera Oloniceva. He lived in Chipman NB for eleven years. Henry was a man of many talents. He was a musician and enjoyed singing. He loved nature and the peace and quiet it brought, as well as the many animals he would see around his home. He enjoyed having a variety of different cats in his life as well. He enjoyed people, sharing his passion for what brought him joy in his life. Many wonderful photographs were taken in all the several places that he lived, both in Europe as well as in Canada.
One special talent of Henry’s was he was an excellent Artist. Over his many years he won Art Awards in Saskatchewan and art shows in Vancouver. Many of his canvases are filled with landscapes from the different seasons, as well as human attributes of beauty and serenity. He was also an activist, writing letters to government, for improvement, in Chipman and in the different provinces he had lived in. He will be forever loved and missed by family and friends.
