Obituary for Jacqueline Diane Michaud (Wheaton)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Diane Michaud, age 71, of Upper Salmon Creek, NB. Jacqueline passed away on Monday, January 31st, 2022 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital.
Born in Coles Island, NB, Jacqueline was the daughter of the late John and Alice (Jenkins) Wheaton.
Jacqueline was a devoted wife and mother, spending 51 years with her husband Maurice. She loved her family and her dog, Sophie, and spent much of her time cooking meals for all to enjoy. When you entered her home, there was not a chance you were leaving without having some sort of meal or baked treat.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Maurice, Upper Salmon Creek; sons; Troy (Jayne), North Forks, Paul (Robert), Vancouver, Donald, Kamloops, Joey (Beverlee), North Forks; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Madeline Egers, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents as well as her brother, John Wheaton.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home, Minto, for their kind and compassionate care of Jacqueline in the final year of her life. Also, to the nursing staff at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, 4 South East Floor, where Jacqueline took her final breaths. Those wishing to make a donation in Jacqueline’s memory may do so to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
Arrangements are in the compassionate care of Chipman Funeral Home Ltd. & Crematorium (339-6612). The family will hold a celebration of Jacqueline’s life, at a later date to be determined. Memories and condolences may be shared through www.chipmanfuneralhome.ca
