Obituary for Josie Dawn Fearn

It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing on March 25, 2023 of our "Wild Flower" Josie Dawn Fearn, a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, great aunt and friend. Born in Fredericton on November 18, 1989 to Valerie Murray and Tom Fearn.

Josie leaves behind to mourn with fond and loving memories her mother, Valerie Murray; sister Jess Sas (Henk); brother, Jimmy Palmer (Cass); niece, Kandace Cormier (Jared); grandparents, George and Zita Fearn along with aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her father, Tom Fearn and her grandmother, Olga O'Neil.

With her infectious smile and mischievous spark in her eyes Josie was always up for the next adventure to feel free, and to feel the wind in her hair with her four legged companion Luna by her side. Many would agree she had the true soul of a gypsy, she was fearless and very strong willed and never sticking in one place for any length of time.

Josie always loved the outdoors now whether that was hunting, fishing or just a walk in the woods or even sleeping under the stars that is where she seemed most at home. She enjoyed many trips to St. Andrews with her sister where they would walk the beach and searched for shells or periwinkles.

As per Josie's wishes, which she had always made clear, there will be no service and a celebration of life will be held for family at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Oromocto SPCA would be appreciated by the family.

Arrangements are in the compassionate care of Chipman Funeral Home Ltd. & Crematorium. (506-339-6612) Memories and condolences may be shared through www.chipmanfuneralhome.ca.
