Obituary for Lawrence Cain McKiel

It is with great sadness that the family of Lawrence Cain McKiel announce his passing. He was the son of the late Roy and Doris (Cain) McKiel. He is survived by his sister Judy (Brian); brothers Doug, Brian (Barbara), Chris (Linda); his good friend Joe Bartlett and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Barb and Sandra; brother Wally; sisters-in-law Joan and Carol; brothers-in-law Donnie and Don.

Larry worked at simms Brush Factory, Finnalson's construction and Bowlorama Bowling Alley. He was an Industrial mechanic.

Larry was very generous and always willing to lend a hand. He loved making music tapes and CDs for everyone. When walking became difficult, you could find him uptown on his scooter .. even trying to go through Tim's drive thru. His favourite hangout was the camp and was planning to go there this summer.

At Larry's request there will be no visiting. Burial will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Wesley United Church Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. in Browns Flat. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wesley United Cemetery fund or the donors choice.

Arrangements are in the compassionate care of Chipman Funeral Home & Crematorium (506-339-6612). Memories and condolences may be made through www.chipmanfuneralhome.ca.
