Obituary for Linda Glenn

Linda Glenn passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2022 in Montreal at the Centre d’hébergement Louis Riel.

Survived by her daughter Amanda Lauzon , grandson Alex and great granddaughter Elsie, her sisters Ruby, Nancy and Wanetta, sister-in-law Shirley Dee Glenn and brother in-law Victor Capozzi.
She was predeceased by her parents, Beatrice Fulton and David Glenn, her siblings Maudie, Mary, Matt, Betty, Hazel, Joe, and Connie.

Linda made her way up to Montreal in the late 1960’s and worked several years under the wing of her sister Hazel at Murray’s Famous Restaurants. She married in 1975, divorced in 1988 at which time she became a one parent family and raised her daughter and grandson mostly on her own. She worked for many years at a Residential Window Manufacturing Company, well into her sixties. No matter how many years she lived in Montreal, Salmon River was always her home. May she rest in peace.

A celebration of Linda's life will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 2:00 pm from the Chipman Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in the presence of the ashes. Interment will be made at the Redbank United Church Cemetery. Following the burial, everyone is invited to return to the funeral home where a light buffet and refreshments will be served.
