It is with profound sadness and love that we mourn the passing of Lorraine Patricia Staples of Waterborough, NB who passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at the age of 78 years.
We feel great sadness for the loss of my loving wife, our precious mother and great happiness that she is finally in the presence of her Saviour, Jesus, where she said she was ready when God called her. Lorraine’s beautiful shining light has just gone out but her love and kindness will shine forever with us all.
Lorraine was born in New Bandon, Northumberland County, NB on July 13, 1944, daughter of the late Clarence and Phyllis (McAleer) Miner.

Lorraine was known all her life to make friends everywhere she went and was known to her family and friends as a positive, cheerful lady with a beautiful smile and a kind giving & caring heart, love for laughter and fun and always willing to help where she could. Mom had a big heart for children and a love to cuddle them all including her grand puppies-Mimi & Rosie. She was the happiest and joyous when spending time with her family and her friends, whether that be just chatting for hours & laughing or sharing a meal, tea, cooking, painting, sewing, crafts, shopping & fashion, travel & touring, dancing & music events.
