Obituary for Mancel Earl Fowler
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mancel Earl Fowler of Chipman, NB on June 2, 2022 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers at the age of 85 years.
He was born in Minto, NB on May 5, 1937, son of the late Stanley and Lois (Sypher) Fowler. Mancel is survived by his loving and devoted wife Carol (Murray), daughters Elizabeth “Beth” Fowler (Clay), Lois Ann Killam, (Derek) and predeceased by son Robert “ Bobby” Fowler.
Mancel will be lovingly remembered by his brother Roger Slocum (Laura Mae), grandchildren Liam O’Donnell, Devon and Jaron Killam; many nieces,nephews, cousins and close pals.
Mancel was a long-time member of the Chipman Fire Department for nearly 70 years, Kinsman as well as many community based endeavors. Both Mancel and wife Carol were always willing to step up when their community needed them.
Family will be receiving visitors from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Chipman Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. A private funeral service will be held at the funeral home following the visitation. Interment will be made in the Second Chipman United Baptist Cemetery.
