Obituary for Merlin Elmer Shay
Merlin Elmer Shay of Coles Island, NB passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Monday, March 6, 2023 at the age of 77. Born is Sussex, NB on June 9, 1945 to parents Elmer and Myrtle (Proctor) Shay.
Merlin is survived by his sons Christopher and Robert; daughters Marlene and Susan (Bruce); brothers Norman and Alfred (Gloria); sisters, Hilda and Glenna (Richard) ; grandchildren, Travis, Tyson, Jayden, Shyanne, Shania, Shakira, Eric, Scott and Sam; several nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
Predeceased by his parents and sister Eleanor. No visitation or service at this time. Donations in memory of Merlin made to your local SPCA would be appreciated by his family.
