Obituary for Nancy Katrine Nicholls (Edney)
With great sadness we announce the passing of Nancy Katrine Nicholls after a brief battle with cancer at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at the age of 73 years. Nancy was born in Taymouth, NB on July 24, 1943 daughter of the late Guy and Betty (Brown) Edney.
She is survived by her son Tony Nicholls; grandchildren, Ashley Nicholls and Leigh-ann Nicholls; great-grandchildren Zoey, Charlie, Emma and Cameron; siblings, Cheryl Edney, Anne Anderson (Melvin) and Larry Edney (Jill); many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Guy and Betty Edney.
Nancy loved her family and was known as the “Bodyguard” to her son, Tony and Super nanny to her grandchildren, Ashley and Leigh-ann. Nancy babysat her great-grandchildren and enjoyed every minute of it. She will be greatly missed and loved by many.
Nancy has chosen no funeral service. Donations in memory of Nancy made to the charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
