Obituary for Veronica Marie Matchett (Mullin)
In Loving Memory of Veronica Marie Matchett (nee Mullin).
1931 - 2023
The family of Veronica Matchett would like to announce her passing on July 6, 2023 at the age of 91 at the Miramichi Shannex, Bridgeview Hall.
Veronica was born at Trout Brook, NB on December 8, 1931 the daughter of Leo and Sadie Mullin and she had 14 brothers and sisters. Veronica was married to Daryl Matchett and had 8 children, Larry Matchett (deceased) and Karen, Judy Matchett, John Matchett (Barb), Karen Matchett (Ron), Michael Matchett (Mary), Kevin Matchett (Tammy), Paul Matchett and Carmel Matchett (Mike). Veronica was also blessed with 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Veronica was an avid card player who enjoyed winning at all cost. She had a quick wit and a warm smile. She also loved Bingo, Knitting, cooking and especially family gatherings. There will be no visitation or funeral services.
The family would like to thank all the staff at the Dungarvin Wing of Bridgeview Hall for going above and beyond towards mom's care. Special thanks to Lloyd LeBail for being her Wingman!
