Cora Winnifred “Winnie” Little, age 94, wife of the late Cyril Little passed away peacefully at the Mill Cove Nursing Home on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Born in North Forks, July 14, 1922 daughter of the late Philip (Hazel Knox) McNeil. Winnie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband and siblings, Lois Bonnell, Frank McNeil and an infant sister, Evelyn. She is survived by many neices and nephews. Family will receive comfort at the Chipman Funeral Home on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 5-8 pm. The Ladies LOBA will hold a service prior to visitation at 4:45 on Friday. Winnie was a member of the Chipman Lodge for 65 years and took great pride serving as chaplain for many years as well. She was named an honorary member of the “Right Worshipful Grand Lodge of New Brunswick” in 2012. A celebration of life will be held from the Second Chipman United Baptist Church on Saturday, March 25 th , 2017 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gerald Burke officiating. Interment will be made in the Second Chipman United Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Winnie can be made to the Second Chipman United Baptist Church.
